This is a technical and managerial hands-on opportunity, which could be based in the UK office or remotely undertaken from Jersey, requiring regular travel to the UK.
Responsibilities will include:
Dealing with bookkeeping and accounts preparation for offshore and onshore trusts and companies with a wide variety of assets, ensuring accounts are prepared to current accepted accounting principles
Managing the workload of the team and ensuring accounts are produced accurately and in a timely manner
Overseeing the ongoing training and development of existing and new staff members
Reporting to the board on a quarterly basis
Developing strong client and professional intermediary relationships and identifying cross-selling opportunities
Experience and skills required:
Hold a relevant professional accountancy qualification such as ACCA or CIMA
Minimum 10 years’ post qualification experience
Strong people management skills
Ability to understand, inspire and develop others
Excellent problem solving skills
