An independent, privately owned trust company is seeking a proactive Assistant Trust Manager to join their team and assist with the management of day to day operations for the administration of trusts and companies.
Working closely with the Managers and Directors, you will identify opportunities for business growth in line with the group’s strategy and ensure a first class personal service is delivered to existing and prospective high net worth clients,
Responsibilities will include:
Assisting with the management of a small team, ensuring appropriate allocation of clients and fair delegation of workloads
Performing the day-to-day administration in maintaining assigned entities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
Liaising with, or accompanying the Trust Manager or Director to meetings with clients and third parties
Conducting performance appraisals and overseeing the development of a team of administrators
Monitoring client transactions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
Acting as a category “C” employee and holding directorships of numerous client entities
Experience and skills required:
Minimum 5 years’ trust and company experience
Completed studying towards a relevant professional Table 5 qualification and willingness to study towards a Table 4 qualification
Excellent communication and organisation skills
Ability to assist with the management and development of a small team
Good working knowledge of the offshore trust industry and all relevant laws, orders and regulations
