Working in this dynamic and collaborative environment, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the corporate actions team, actively cultivating an engaged and motivated team through effective ongoing coaching and leading by example.
In addition, you will also analyse the complexities of corporate actions, from announcements to entitlement processing and reconciliations and play an active role in department-wide initiatives.
Responsibilities will include:
Monitoring daily task allocation to administrators and publishing sub-custodian notifications
Reconciling and posting entitlements results from corporate actions to client accounts
Acting as a subject matter expert around complex corporate action handling
Undertaking monthly meetings with individuals on the corporate action team and carrying out performance reviews
Providing impact analysis and root cause analysis for any operational risk events, managing any investigations through to resolution
Experience and skills required:
Previous corporate actions experience
Good technical understanding of market practices and the ability to translate these in a way which is easy to understand
Ability to work well within a team
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Strong time management skills
