An award-winning law firm is currently seeking a compliance professional to provide additional support to their busy client take-on team for 6 months, during a period of growth.
As Assistant Manager you will provide support on all aspects of the client take-on process, across practice areas in various locations, monitoring team workloads and providing advice and guidance on client take-on matters.
Responsibilities will include:
Preparing client files and opening new matters
Tracking the progress of CDD documentation and matter openings and arranging for the sign-off of client take on files
Reviewing work prepared by junior team members
Ensuring the completion of PEP submissions to the relevant committees
Assisting with training on CDD/databases
Experience and skills required:
Minimum 5 years’ compliance experience
Hold a relevant professional qualification
Good technical knowledge of local regulatory requirements
Good interpersonal skills and ability to develop close working relationships
Strong prioritisation skills and the ability to work methodically and accurately
