An award-winning law firm is currently seeking a compliance professional to provide additional support to their busy client take-on team for 6 months, during a period of growth.

As Assistant Manager you will provide support on all aspects of the client take-on process, across practice areas in various locations, monitoring team workloads and providing advice and guidance on client take-on matters.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing client files and opening new matters

  • Tracking the progress of CDD documentation and matter openings and arranging for the sign-off of client take on files

  • Reviewing work prepared by junior team members

  • Ensuring the completion of PEP submissions to the relevant committees

  • Assisting with training on CDD/databases

Experience and skills required:

  • Minimum 5 years’ compliance experience

  • Hold a relevant professional qualification 

  • Good technical knowledge of local regulatory requirements 

  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to develop close working relationships 

  • Strong prioritisation skills and the ability to work methodically and accurately
