Reporting to the Head of Customer Experience and working closely with the Compliance Officer, you will support the development and maintenance of the group’s risk and control framework, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring various registers and escalating any concerns, as necessary

  • Working with senior management to ensure a proactive approach to compliance is embedded throughout the group

  • Providing advice on the company’s controls, risk management framework and risk management tools and techniques 

  • Monitoring and dealing with any issues arising in respect of conflicts of interest, self-dealing and whistle blowing policies and preparing suspicious activity reports for submission to relevant authorities, as required

  • Keeping up to date with any regulatory changes and highlighting any changes

Experience and skills required:

  • Ideally hold previous compliance experience, including experience of controls and risk management 

  • Familiarity with the obligations of a regulated company 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Flexible approach to tasks and a willingness to study towards relevant professional qualifications 

  • Ability to work accurately and with good attention to detail
