Lead a team of highly professional and respected Accountants in a successful alternative investments services provider that is committed to attracting the best talent, where you will be continually supported with the tools and training to succeed.
Within this inspiring place to work you will have oversight of the day-to-day accounting services for a portfolio of client structures, supporting the development and growth of the relevant team members reporting to you. You will also take ownership of the client relationships within the team.
Responsibilities will include:
Leading a team of accounting staff in the day-to-day operations for a number of portfolios
Reviewing team members’ work, ensuring accuracy and completeness
Establishing and maintaining good working relationships with clients, third parties and central services
Assisting with management and preparation of financial statements and setting up complex bookkeeping
Tracking team workloads and holding regular team meetings
Attending and presenting at client meetings
Experience and skills required:
Minimum 3 years’ experience in real estate fund accounting
ACCA/ACA qualified Accountant with a strong academic background
Strong analytical skills and a high standard of accuracy
Previous supervisory or line management experience
Yardi system experience would be an advantage but is not essential
