A global and award-winning investment company is currently seeking a motivated Assistant Accountant to join their finance function and provide maternity cover for a 12 month period.
In this varied role as Assistant Accountant you will have responsibility for financial reporting, working closely with the business across the finance function.
Responsibilities will include:
Ensuring timely settlement of supplier/purchase invoices
Overseeing the accounts payable workflow within the group’s finance system
Preparing payroll reports for multiple jurisdictions
Bookkeeping staff costs and benefits
Liaising with the HR department in relation to joiners and leavers and any changes to compensation and benefits
Reconciling bank payments
Experience and skills required:
Minimum 3 years’ accounting experience
Previous experience working with accounting systems
Good numeracy skills
Highly organised and excellent interpersonal skills
