An offshore law firm is currently seeking a professionally qualified Accountant to provide maternity cover from May to November 2021.
In this role you will be responsible for the accounting aspects of the law firms and their related entities across the Group. This role can be based in Jersey or Guernsey.
Responsibilities will include:
Maintaining and reviewing the general ledger postings
Performing the reconciliation and agreement of inter-company balances
Preparing the monthly budget reports, including variance analysis
Producing end of year financial statements
Posting monthly journals for depreciation, accruals, prepayments etc.
Experience and skills required:
Professional qualification (ACCA, ACA or equivalent)
Ability to reconcile complex accounts
Strong communication skills
Attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure
