As Trust Officer you will work with clients to strategise toward the preservation and continued growth of trust assets while achieving their specific trust and estate planning objectives.
Responsibilities will include:
Managing a varied portfolio of trust and estate accounts
Assessing the client’s overall estate and tax planning needs
Communicating effectively with the client and/or client’s attorney on all trust and estate matters
Introducing clients to the broad range of investment management options
Ensuring compliance with legal requirements and internal procedures
Experience and skills required:
Minimum 2 years’ experience within a similar role
Strong knowledge of estate or trust management and administration and tax issues
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently using on initiative
Experience as a Certified Trust and Financial Advisor would be an advantage, however is not essential
