A leading multi-jurisdictional financial services provider which offers an inclusive and friendly culture, is currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join their finance team on a contractual basis for maternity cover.
Reporting to the Head of Financial Planning and Analysis and working with the Group Head of Finance and the Group finance team, you will manage and assist the business planning, budgeting, and forecasting cycles for the Group. This is a unique role which can be based remotely in Jersey or London.
Responsibilities will include:
Developing and assisting with the creation of group financial planning framework, including detailed financial models and analysis, business plans and operating forecasts
Preparing analysis of variances to budget/forecast
Leading the forecasting process
Analysing current and past trends in key performance indicators in revenue, direct costs, expenses and cashflow
Assisting with platform development and liaising with the IT team to develop and implement improved business performance management
Experience and skills required:
ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
Minimum 4 years’ experience in financial accounting, ideally with a minimum of 3 years in financial planning and analysis
Previous experience owning and delivering high quality reports and managing the budget and planning cycle
Strong financial modelling and Excel skills
Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Collaborative approach to tasks
