As Trust Relationship Lead, you will have oversight of the trust administration for ultra-high net worth fiduciary relationships, which will entail working with clients and their private bankers to strategise toward the preservation and continued growth of trust assets.
You will also assist in achieving their specific trust and estate planning objectives, and introducing clients to a broad range of trust and private banking opportunities.
Responsibilities will include:
Managing a book of trust and company accounts and engaging in trust client relationship management which may occasionally include travel
Ensuring all accounts are administered efficiently and in accordance with the firm's policies and procedures, legal requirements, governing instruments and with the highest level of client service
Appropriately assessing risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation, and safeguarding its clients and assets
Representing the trust business both internally and externally to ultra-high net worth clients, prospects and their advisors
Assisting with the review of new business opportunities
Experience and skills required:
6+ years of experience within in trust and company management and administration
Hold a STEP qualification
Proven experience in the trust officer role
Strong subject matter expert knowledge and proven technical proficiency in the investment, legal and tax issues relative to trust and/or company management
Strong communication and proven presentation skills
