A global provider of banking and investment services is seeking a motivated individual to join their custody operations team until the end of January 2022.
As a Temporary Custody Operations Officer you will respond to AML requests from managers and oversee the processing of trade and transitions activity. You will also play a key role in helping to support and organise the custody operations team, to maximise overall efficiency and team performance to promote a positive overall client experience, while minimising operational incidents and mitigating risk.
Responsibilities will include:
Reviewing corporate action processing
Processing client management/custody fees
Assisting with queries, acting as the most senior point of escalation below the Head of Custody Operations
Implementing risk controls and governance standards, to effectively manage operational risks
Ensuring any incidents and complaints are managed within service level agreements
Experience and skills required:
Good knowledge of trade life cycles and KYC requirements, particularly for corporate structures
Hold a relevant investment or securities professional qualification
Minimum 3 years’ investment banking experience
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work well within a team and independently using own initiative
