Within his role you will manage software licensing requirements and subscriptions, support policies designed to increase operational efficiency, monitor supplier relationships and evaluate customer feedback to develop quality improvement processes.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Establishing and implementing software asset management policies, processes and procedures

  • Defining the ongoing and long term strategic management of licensing, including planning, monitoring and recording software licences

  • Identifying potential opportunities to enhance client experience and reduce costs 

  • Managing internal and external vendor relationships as well as contractual agreements for all IT functions 

  • Keeping up to date with latest industry trends and changes

Experience and skills required:

  • Previous experience and knowledge in the set up and ongoing management of an organisation’s software licensing capability 

  • Supplier relationship management experience, preferably with IT suppliers used by a financial services organisation 

  • Hold a relevant professional IT qualification  

  • Ability to work well within a team and using own initiative 

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
