Play a key role in the investment support team and support the delivery of an efficient and effective service to a global client base.
Using your extensive knowledge of investment support activities, you will monitor the settlement process of trades and corporate actions and work closely with the Head of Operations to manage the team and workload, to ensure service and business needs are met.
Responsibilities will include:
Providing trade confirmations to custodians to enable settlements within deadlines
Processing transactions relating to equities, bonds, funds, derivatives, dividends and corporate actions
Assisting Head of Operations with the development of new products and liaising with custodians in setting up new security markets where necessary
Processing and releasing client payments and performing cash reconciliations
Assisting with client management and reporting
Experience and skills required:
Minimum 3 years’ securities experience
A comprehensive understanding of investments, securities and the banking industry
Good working knowledge of how securities are traded and settled
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Methodical and logical approach to tasks and a high standard of numeracy skills
