Responsibilities will include:
Undertaking day to day bookkeeping from source documents including banking systems, bank statements and property statements
Reviewing entity ledgers and bookkeeping records in advance of accounts preparation
Assisting with queries and liaising with third parties for information, where required
Reviewing bookkeeping and identifying any errors or non-compliance and taking corrective action
Providing periodic reporting on clients where necessary
Experience and skills required:
Good working knowledge of double entry bookkeeping
Previous experience analysing, posting and reconciling third party valuations and statements
Ability to reconcile ledgers with VAT returns and statements received from tax authorities
Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
Confident using both manual and computerised accounting systems
