In this key person role, you will also act as Deputy MLRO, design internal AML policies and procedures, act as a point of contact for the JFSC and run quarterly Board meetings.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing and updating company AML/CFT policies 

  • Carrying out the role of Deputy MLRO and overseeing the MLRO process 

  • Developing the compliance monitoring plan 

  • Carrying out client monitoring for new and existing clients 

  • Reporting to the board on a quarterly basis 

  • Acting as key liaison for the JFSC

Experience and skills required:

  • Minimum 5 years’ compliance monitoring experience 

  • Hold a professional qualification in AML/CFT 

  • Excellent understanding of AML legislation 

  • Good working knowledge of current financial reporting requirements and ability to articulate this to colleagues  

  • Strong reporting skills and experience relating information to board and risk committees
