Play a vital role in the success of a legal professional services firm, enhancing the reach, impact and visibility of their global profile, by creating targeted campaigns.
Joining the business development and marketing team, you will deliver campaigns and messages designed to attract prospective clients. You will also create communications to promote the diverse work of the team and celebrate the firm’s values, culture and personality.
You will need strong internal communications skills to coordinate and deliver campaigns, create impactful messages that keep the business informed, and manage the expectations of busy stakeholders. Ideally you will also have a good understanding of the offshore market and be highly proactive in order to flexibly respond to any changes. Some out of hours work may occasionally be necessary.
Responsibilities will include:
Supporting the design and delivery of the long-term communications strategy and helping to develop other policies and procedures around business communications
Elevating the firm’s profile through multiple channels, including media coverage, social media and through leadership initiatives
Planning internal campaigns, including managing requests for firm announcements and news updates
Drafting and managing press releases
Building strong relationships across the firm, managing stakeholder expectations and also building good relationships with media outlets
Monitoring and analysing the results of campaigns, managing social media analytics and producing regular reports
Experience and skills required:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in helping professional services businesses to grow
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Previous experience using a variety of media channels to deliver persuasive communication strategies
Strong media relations skills and experience creating targeted content
A degree in marketing, media, communications or journalism would be an advantage, but is not essential
