A unique opportunity for a newly qualified Accountant to join a growing innovative investment business as part of their new in-house accounting function.
This is an exciting time to join a company and play a key role in the development of their international finance function.
Responsibilities will include:
Maintaining the general ledger for a number of companies, performing regular reconciliations, preparing calculations and posting expense recharges
Preparing monthly management accounts
Performing variance analysis and reporting on actual performance against budget
Preparing cash flow forecasts and calculating account funding requirements
Monitoring group portfolio investments
Experience and skills required:
Educated to degree level (or equivalent), ideally within a finance, economics or science subject or similar
Newly/recently qualified Accountant with previous experience within financial services
Good understanding of Jersey’s regulatory and financial reporting regime
Strong analytical skills
Previous experience using accounting software
