A new and unique opportunity for a commercially astute Lawyer to join a long established private family office, working in a varied and challenging role.
Joining the Jersey office at an exciting stage of growth, you will assist with the management of banking and corporate matters arising from the broad range of investments and assets owned by the group, ensuring a quality service is delivered at all times.
Responsibilities will include:
Reviewing legal documentation for equity and loan note venture capital investments
Drafting and reviewing loan agreements, amendments, waivers, transfers and security documentation
Preparing contracts for consultancy services
Advising on regulatory and compliance matters
Coordinating and liaising with external counsel as necessary
Drafting corporate documentation such as board/shareholder resolutions and powers of attorneys
Experience and skills required:
Minimum of 5 years’ post qualification experience
Previous and varied experience gained at a top-rated law firm in corporate, banking and finance
Working knowledge of international matters
Confident decision maker and ability to work using own initiative, in a confidential manner
