Support the day to day operations of entrepreneurial fiduciary group, providing end user support with IT security, equipment and network server issues.

Using your knowledge gained from previous IT support roles, you will act as a subject matter expert, assist with system upgrades and implementations, help to resolve user queries and manage vendor relationships.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing the maintenance of server infrastructure: assisting with deployment, upgrades, backups and restorations

  • Managing security probes and user access, including maintaining the secure network access registers for remote users 

  • Keeping up to date with emerging technologies and recommending new programmes

  • Assisting with the training of new joiners and providing technical knowledge and advice to the business

  • Acting as a mentor to direct reports, holding regular one to one meetings and also participating in the performance review process

Experience and skills required:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in an IT support/administration role, preferably with experience providing 2nd line support  

  • Previous experience managing senior stakeholder expectations 

  • Hold a professional IT qualification i.e. MCSA/MCSE or ITIL Certification

  • Strong technical knowledge of network, PC and server operations 

  • Application support experience with Microsoft Server and knowledge of Active Directory, Office 365 and Citrix
