Be a vital player in the day-to-day security operations of a highly reputable business, monitoring and responding to identified cyber security events.
Working alongside the wider IT department, you will monitor security trends and help to develop improvements designed to increase system efficiencies.

Responsibilities will include:
Supporting the implementation of cyber security solutions
Identifying potential cyber security risks and contributing to mitigation strategies
Monitoring alerts generated by security tooling and reviewing security logs
Assisting with security related service desk tickets
Undertaking research on future cyber security developments and reporting on findings
Experience and skills required:
Previous IT experience identifying issues and assessing implications
Either hold or currently studying towards a foundation level security qualification such as CompTIA Security+
A good understanding of IT fundamentals, such as networking, software and infrastructure
Knowledge of cyber security principles
Excellent organisational skills and ability to work well within a team
