As Investor Relations Manager, you will manage the investor services team, ensuring a timely response to investor queries, coordinating accounting and administration queries from investors, working with the client investor relationship teams and helping to build the investor middle office service offering.

The role involves liaising directly with clients, investors and their representatives, in addition to working directly with the various fund administration teams and the KYC/CDD teams in Luxembourg, Jersey and other operational teams within securities services as required. Responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with the completion of investor queries, liaising with the fund accounting team when preparing a response and assisting with fee calculations and statement queries

  • Supervising and reviewing the upload of investor reporting and notices on the relevant portal platforms 

  • Liaising with fund administration teams to ensure the sending out of quarterly investor reports, drawdown and distribution notices, capital statements and quarterly reports are done accurately and to agreed deadlines

  • Managing the processes surrounding the admission of new investors, transfers of interest and investor KYC requests including liaising with Lawyers and multi-jurisdictional teams

  • Attending and assisting with any prospective investor presentations arranged by fund clients 

  • Providing cover for the static data team as required, supervising the maintenance of data, reporting and monitoring of mailboxes

Experience and skills required:

  • Hold a relevant accounting qualification (ACCA/ACA)

  • Previous people management experience and experience within the finance industry, specifically private equity fund accounting preparation

  • Excellent working knowledge of fund accounting practices and standards, particularly IFRS, UK GAAP and US GAAP 

  • Ability to manage a high volume of documentation quickly and to check all relevant details 

  • Strong analytical skills and an excellent awareness of commercial and risk management-based client solutions 

  • Positive, collaborative and forward-thinking approach to talks
