A number of roles are available working alongside the Deputy Director for International Tax, which may involve providing support with responding to requests for assistance or ensuring compliance with tax reporting obligations, in particular, to the application of the rules on Economic Substance and/or FATCA/CRS.
If you have technical tax compliance or advisory experience and the ability to build strong working relationships with clients and stakeholders, this could be the opportunity for you!
Responsibilities of each role may include:
Reviewing requests and preparing information production notices, reviewing information for completeness and accuracy
Assisting with queries regarding international tax agreements and procedures
Accurately maintaining statistical data
Supervising and reviewing the work of junior team members
Experience and skills required:
Previous tax compliance or advisory experience, ideally within a financial services environment
Hold a relevant professional tax qualification such as ATT or equivalent
Detailed knowledge of relevant tax legislation and regulations, including familiarity with CDD/KYC reporting rules
Knowledge of Economic Substance and/or CRS/FATCA rules would be beneficial
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
