Responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and managing audits and liaising with auditors during this process

  • Working collaboratively with the Senior Finance Officer and Group Finance Director to drive financial control across the group; ensuring inter-company positions are agreed and recharges are accounted for correctly

  • Ensuring a quality service is delivered at all times to internal and external clients and to agreed deadlines

  • Preparing calculations for new acquisitions and reviewing existing acquisitions

  • Contributing to the development of financial processes and systems, ensuring these procedures are clearly documented

Experience and skills required:

  • Qualified Accountant with a strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and its practical application

  • Confident communication skills

  • Keen attention to detail

  • Demonstrate a high level of technical competency and an ability to impart that knowledge to others effectively

  • Excellent prioritisation and time management skills
