Responsibilities will include:
Planning and managing audits and liaising with auditors during this process
Working collaboratively with the Senior Finance Officer and Group Finance Director to drive financial control across the group; ensuring inter-company positions are agreed and recharges are accounted for correctly
Ensuring a quality service is delivered at all times to internal and external clients and to agreed deadlines
Preparing calculations for new acquisitions and reviewing existing acquisitions
Contributing to the development of financial processes and systems, ensuring these procedures are clearly documented
Experience and skills required:
Qualified Accountant with a strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and its practical application
Confident communication skills
Keen attention to detail
Demonstrate a high level of technical competency and an ability to impart that knowledge to others effectively
Excellent prioritisation and time management skills
