Support the personal law department, assisting fee earners with caseloads and also undertaking bookkeeping and accounts preparation in this varied dual role.

Working in a busy and fast paced environment, you will deal with your own caseload as allocated by colleagues, liaise with clients and assist with the preparation of annual accounts.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Dealing with estate and curatorship administration, including carrying out investigations 

  • Liaising with clients and attending meetings and taking instructions

  • Preparing probate applications 

  • Dealing with receipts and processing payments, manpower returns and income tax returns 

  • Preparing annual accounts and curatorship inventories 

Experience and skills required:

  • Ideally hold a law degree or equivalent (LPC or GDL)  

  • Minimum 1 years’ office experience in the legal sector, including experience dealing with clients 

  • Excellent time management and organisational skills

  • Confident communication skills 

  • Proactive approach to tasks and a commitment to providing a quality client service
