An exciting, newly created role for an individual with previous secretarial experience. This role will provide them with the opportunity to support senior management whilst really contributing to the wider business and its delivery in sustainable, profitable growth.
Support and work alongside the Head of Broking to monitor and deliver department objectives through the delivery and facilitation of department initiatives, reporting on department performance and facilitating the operation of department leadership meetings.
Responsibilities will include:
Assisting the Head of Broking to plan the prospecting, sales and servicing of products for clients’ needs and ensuring they meet regulatory requirements
Reviewing and preparing management information, presentations, reports and executive summaries that deliver accurate and consistent reporting to meet the requirements of the Head of Broking and the group Sales and Marketing Director
Prioritising, proactively managing and responding to incoming Head of Broking post, e-mails and enquiries, and where appropriate and within authority limits, resolving queries in liaison with other relevant departments
Carrying out delegated activities such as minute taking, reconciling purchases, holiday requests etc. on behalf of the Head of Broking and in accordance with delegated authority and relevant policies
Helping Head of Broking to build and maintain relationships with other functions
Delivering short-term/one off projects and activities as required
Experience and skills required:
Previous experience as an Executive Assistant
Highly motivated with an ability to work under pressure
Good attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple deadlines
Dependability and confident communication skills
