A dynamic and ambitious wealth management firm is looking for a compliance professional to provide support on an initial 6 month contract.

Within this role, you will support the compliance function in delivering the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Compliance Monitoring Plan, conduct gap analysis of any regulatory changes and update local AML policies and procedures. You will also investigate transaction monitoring alerts and assist with CDD queries.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting regular compliance monitoring and testing, ensuring robust controls are in place to detect potential money laundering 

  • Investigating and addressing any deficiencies identified from compliance monitoring and recommending improvements

  • Conducting gap analysis of AML regulatory change and keeping senior management informed as appropriate 

  • Supporting the MLRO and MLCO and responding to requests for information made by regulators 

  • Compiling reports for the Board on AML matters 

Experience and skills required:

  • Previous AML experience and hold a relevant professional compliance qualification 

  • Proven track record in reporting to and engaging with Senior Management and Boards 

  • Experience designing, managing and monitoring AML/compliance regulatory frameworks

  • Excellent knowledge of the JFSC’s AML Handbook and local legislation 

  • Exposure to policy and procedure analysis and investigating transaction monitoring alerts
