Responsibilities will include:
Actively selecting and selling commercial insurance products to clients which are designed to meet their long term needs
Reviewing, evaluating and processing a portfolio of existing commercial clients, arranging meetings with clients and identifying new business opportunities
Liaising and negotiating with Underwriters and/or insurers to obtain appropriate policy cover and terms
Monitoring available products in the market to ensure the company remains competitive
Building and maintaining effective relationships with key insurance suppliers
Training, coaching and developing less experienced colleagues
Experience and skills required:
Previous experience in a similar role within insurance, sales or customer service
Either hold or currently working towards a relevant professional qualification (Cert CII or higher)
Strong interpersonal skills and a professional, approachable and friendly manner
Previous experience working in a targeted and performance-driven environment
Excellent telephone manner
