Play an instrumental role in driving the sales strategy and performance of a dynamic commercial organisation.
Working alongside the Head of Commercial, you will lead a team aiming to drive sales across all product categories, through the retention and growth of existing customers and development of new customers.
You will act as a subject matter expert for a particular product category and contribute towards the continued success of this organisation.
Responsibilities will include:
Actively seeking business development opportunities
Participating in creating, negotiating and closing commercial agreements
Delivering sales presentations to line managers and executives
Providing regular statistical analysis of customer sales and profitability, to help shape strategy
Assisting with annual sales strategy planning
Experience and skills required:
Experience in a similar business development role
Previous management experience
Knowledge of the Channel Island market
Strategic thinker and excellent customer service skills
Clean driving licence
