As Business Compliance Officer you will provide assistance with the compliance risk management process and provide advice and guidance to the business. You will also maintain and develop a thorough understanding of the relevant regulatory requirements and embed a compliance culture in the business, whilst protecting business reputational risk.

Responsibilities will include:
Overseeing the management of risk and compliance and monitoring business reputational risk
Providing assistance and advice on compliance issues to management and committees
Creating a compliance monitoring plan and carrying out monitoring activities
Maintaining and updating compliance plans, processes, manuals and staff training
Keeping up to date with regulatory developments
Experience and skills required:
Ideally hold a professional compliance or legal qualification
Minimum 5 years’ compliance or risk experience
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Good understanding of the Jersey regulatory environment
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise deadlines
Excellent communication and relationship building skills
