Reporting to the Head of Customer Experience and working closely with the Compliance Officer, you will support the development and maintenance of the group’s risk and control framework, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the Compliance Officer in embedding a proactive compliance culture throughout the company 

  • In time, acting as the group’s Data Protection Officer, ensuring data protection obligations are understood and delivered 

  • Providing advice on the company’s controls, risk management framework and risk management tools and techniques 

  • Monitoring and dealing with any issues arising in respect of conflicts of interest, self-dealing and whistle blowing policies, preparing suspicious activity reports for submission to relevant authorities as required

  • Keeping up to date with any regulatory changes  

Experience and skills required:

  • Ideally hold previous compliance experience, including experience of controls and risk management 

  • Familiarity with the obligations of a regulated company 

  • Knowledge of data security requirements 

  • Flexible and willingness to learn, including willingness to study towards relevant professional qualifications 

  • Ability to work accurately and with good attention to detail
