This commercial business is looking for a self-motivated and passionate Administration Assistant Manager to be part of their friendly, enjoyable and supportive environment.
Overseeing the provision of a professional and timely internal accounting service, you will process invoices and expenses, provide administrative support to the wider team and also deputise for the Administration Manager, during any periods of absence.
This is an excellent hands-on opportunity for an enthusiastic individual with previous payments experience, looking for a new career opportunity within the commercial or retail sector.
Responsibilities will include:
Accurately maintaining the Purchase Ledger and ensuring payment deadlines are met
Ensuring suppliers and invoices are accurately processed, in accordance with terms and conditions
Raising purchase orders and signed off by the appropriate signatories
Carrying out invoice reconciliations
Overseeing sales ledger activities and developing departmental procedures
Experience and skills required:
Previous experience in a commercial or retail environment
A strong customer focus and the ability to build effective working relationships
Ability to work in a team environment and to deadlines
Computerised accounting purchase and sales ledger experience
Previous supervisory experience would be an advantage but is not essential
