This commercial business is looking for a self-motivated and passionate Administration Manager to be part of their friendly, enjoyable and supportive environment.

Managing the administration function, you will create and maintain an environment that focuses on mentoring, coaching and motivating the team whilst overseeing the efficient day-to-day operations of the department, ensuring all customers and supplier needs are met in a timely and effective manner.

This is an excellent ‘hands-on’ opportunity to make a difference, driving company initiatives to improve performance and standards and implementing the group administration strategy.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Building and maintaining strong working relationships with the team, colleagues, customers and suppliers 

  • Overseeing recruitment, induction, training, absence management and the provision of ongoing support to the team 

  • Reviewing procedures and recommending improvements to increase efficiency 

  • Assisting with supplier payments and invoices

  • Maintaining the customer portal and website data as required

  • Resolving customer account queries

Experience and skills required:

  • Previous people management experience  

  • Confident administration and customer service skills 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

  • Willingness to learn and develop with the business 

  • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work well within a team
