Our client, a Global Bank, has a vacancy to provide support and oversight of outsourced production activities including the performance of quality and assurance. Process improvement and change management, oversight of the Purchase Ledger Clerk.
Detailed Responsibilities:
- Pick up any critical reporting processes that have not been implemented in the Professional Service Centre;
- Perform ongoing Onshore Quality and Assurance checks;
- Oversee the remaining Onshore Production activities including the Purchase Ledger resource;
- Ongoing review of intercompany positions, accruals and prepayments;
- Facilitate response and resolution of adhoc reporting queries;
- Assist in the production of Financial Statements and Regulatory returns;
- Support change management and process improvements for Channel Island Finance;
- New systems implementations
- Other change projects
Education/Experience
Essential
– Qualified accountant ICAEW, ACCA or equivalent
– Strong interpersonal skills
– MS office familiarity (particularly Excel)
– Computer literate
– Knowledge of IFRS
Preferred
– Previous Financial Services reporting experience.
– Knowledge of TM1, Bankmaster & 4 Series
– Awareness of Channel Island Taxation and Regulatory requirements.
– Previous Experience of Regulatory reporting under Basel II
