Temporary EmploymentTemporary Service Temporary staff are essential to everyday business. A temp is employed for a variety of reasons including cover for sickness, maternity leave, project work or to help during busy periods.Why Should I Temp? There are many reasons why people enjoy temping, here are just a few: Competitive Rates of Pay As a temporary employee you will be rewarded with the best possible rates available and paid weekly direct into your bank account. Holiday Pay All temps will receive the equivalent of 2 weeks paid holiday per year, pro-rated according to the length of time that you work. If you are in a single, continuous assignment that runs over a bank holiday you will also be paid for the bank holiday. Travelling If you have just returned from travelling you may be short of cash so temping is a great stop gap before finding the right permanent position or embarking on further adventures. Temporary to Permanent If you are undecided on the type of job or industry in which you would like to work, temping is an excellent opportunity to learn more before accepting a position on a permanent basis. Variety & Flexibility As a temp you can be offered a variety of positions in different organizations to further develop your skills. Temping can also offer a high degree of flexibility in that we would endeavour to arrange assignments (including hours of work) that suit your lifestyle.
